Desi Banks Tour 2026

Desi Banks, formed in 2017, emerged from the vibrant independent music scene of Los Angeles, California. The quartet consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Maya Sharma, bassist and backing vocalist Ben Carter, drummer Sarah Jenkins, and keyboardist David Lee. Their sound is characterized by a blend of indie rock sensibilities with atmospheric synths and driving rhythmic sections. Sharma's vocals often feature a breathy quality, contrasting with moments of powerful, soaring melodies. Carter's bass lines are frequently intricate and melodic, providing a strong counterpoint to Jenkins' precise and often polyrhythmic drumming. Lee's keyboard work ranges from lush pads to sharp, arpeggiated textures, adding a distinctive layer to their compositions. The band’s arrangements frequently build from sparse, contemplative verses to expansive, effects-laden choruses, demonstrating a careful dynamic control.
